¨ Provides a comprehensive benefits package, which includes special rates on services necessary to running a successful business…. Such as banking, long distance, and gas purchases, plus special rates on group life insurance and health insurance.
¨ Delivers the “Black Tie Excellence Awards” program, recognizing outstanding business and community achievements.
¨ Provides assistance to new business and entrepreneurs
¨ Is the premier source of all verbal and printed regional and community information.
¨ Produces monthly newsletters for and about our members and the community.
¨ Assists people to relocate to the community.
¨ Liaises with other economic development and marketing organizations to promote Prince Rupert & District.
¨ Supports the operation of our year-round Visitor-Centre, and seasonal Info Booth, which promotes our region both locally and abroad.
¨ Assists in planning and presenting community events such as Seafest.
¨ Have a BC District membership directory in place for our District to grow our businesses’ marketability
¨ Weekly newspaper article on our chamber and our members the Rising Stars Initiative where students work at our members’ businesses.
¨ Host an auction annually for fundraising to support new initiatives for business development.
